Participation of IRIFIU representative in a workshop on” Promoting Regional Cooperation in Control Delivery and Joint Investigative Teams”

IRIFIU representative participated in the second workshop on “Promoting regional cooperation in Control Delivery and Joint investigative Teams” on 13-17 April 2015 in Almaty- Kazakhstan.

This conference jointly organized by UNODC (under the framework of tis Regional Program for Afghanistan and Neighboring Countries), Central Asian Regional Information and cooperation Central (CARICC), and with the technical support of EU-funded Project “Heroin Route II".

The main objective of this Regional Workshop is to promote further regional cooperation among the countries in West and Central Asia on issues related to “Control Delivery “and Joint Investigative Teams” as well as Facilitate Participation in the activities through possible bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or other legal instruments, provide updates on legal and operational efforts in tackling drug trafficking, facilitate participation in scenario based “Control Delivery as Joint Investigative Teams” and discuss the need and challenges related to enhancing regional cooperation on “Control Delivery” and “Joint Investigative Teams”.
